Colophon

A quick look at how this site is put together, and who to thank for the parts I did not build myself.
Built with
- TanStack Start, a React 19 framework on Vite, for routing and server rendering.
- TypeScript throughout.
- Tailwind CSS v4 for styling, on a shadcn-style component structure.
- Lucide for the icons.
- Scaffolded in Lovable, then designed and refined with AI.
- Deployed on Cloudflare.
Type
- Geist for display and body text, with a system sans-serif fallback.
- JetBrains Mono for the small monospaced labels.
The moving background
The living gradient behind every page is an Interactive Gradient Background component from 21st.dev, adapted to run as a full-page backdrop with a slow ambient drift, pointer parallax, and reduced-motion support.
Color and motion
The palette is deliberately monochrome so the animated gradient carries all of the color. Color tokens are defined in OKLCH, and every animation respects prefers-reduced-motion.
