Yeah, that's me

But not the samurai guy. The guy next to him. And it was there, in Japan, where I learned about and fell in love with UX design.

And that journey went a little something like this:

I designed lessons and learning materials and was constantly testing them on various classes of students. And that got me thinking about what made certain products effective and others not.

That led me to the doorstep of UX design, which resulted in me going back to school where I obtained a certificate of UX Design from George Brown College. 

And here we are now.

Work Experience

UX Designer I @ BMO AIR MILES

October 2, 2023 to October 2, 2024 (1 Year)

- Developed and integrated innovative components into the AIR MILES Design System, utilizing Figma for precision and consistency.

- Utilized Adobe Experience Manager to create and publish over 50 optimized web pages, enhancing the overall site performance and user experience.

- Utilized expertise in Information Architecture to streamline page migrations, improving user navigation.

- Collaborated closely with product managers and developers to ensure timely project delivery.

- Facilitated and participated in design critique sessions during regular office hours to enhance collaborative feedback and improve design outcomes.

- Successfully managed independent projects for eight months, delivering high-quality results across various initiatives.

- Conducted detailed requirements analysis sessions with the developer and project owner utilizing industry best practices.

- Evaluated competitive strategies by examining market trends, resulting in optimized user experiences aligning with current market demands.
